My log in isn't working.
There are two areas of the site that require unique log in and password. The Designer Forum and Design Solutions areas are built from two separate databases so you must create a username and password for both sections.

Design Solutions

What is the difference between Company Location and Project Location?
Some companies have projects in other cities and users have the option to search by either. If your company is in the same city as the project you've completed, use the same location.

What is Project Nickname?
This name will not be displayed to users browsing K+BB's Design Solution pages. This is for personal use only. If you enter multiple projects, you might find "nicknames" to be useful when managing your entries.

What is Products Used?
To specify which products you used in the project you can select the product type and manufacturer. The blank box next to it is where you can give specific item details. If you have a category or manufacturer that is not represented in the pull down menu, you can enter it in the "other" entry box or provide more product information in the "Project Summary."

Why do I have to supply three photos?
We ask you to enter three photos because the different sized photos will appear on different pages. However these photos are NOT required to upload a project.

The SMALL PHOTO will be displayed when users are browsing the search results.

This MEDIUM PHOTO will be displayed when a user chooses to get more information about your project.

Once a user is reviewing your project, they will have the option to download a LARGE PHOTO of your project.

Please adhere to the maximum file (K) size listed next to each photo field. If your photo is too large, you will be prompted to submit a smaller version that meets the standards.

What if I don't have a photo of my project?
You can still enter a project without a photo. Simply leave the photo fields blank.

I submitted my project, but I don't see it on the site.
You may have only saved your project. In order for the project to be viewable on the site, you must "post" it. To check on the status of your project, go to "View Your Projects" within the Design Solutions section (you must be signed in to access this area). If there is a button that says "Post," you have only saved your project. Clicking "Post" will enable your project to be viewable to K+BB users. If there is a button that says "Hide," you have already posted your project.

What's the difference between the "Projects" section (listed in the navigation) and the "Design Solutions" section?
The "Projects" section is an editorial feature written by a K+BB editor.

Design Solutions projects are entered by the users themselves. These projects have not been reviewed by K+BB editors. It's an opportunity for the Design community to share projects with one another.

I keep seeing an error message when I am searching Kitchens or searching Baths while in the "Design Solutions" section.
Try entering broader search terms; for example, search a wider range of square footage. And, do not enter commas in the search terms for square footage. If you continue to experience problems, please email us at opinion@kbbonline.com or call us at 646-654-4409.

How can I submit a project for potential coverage in K+BB magazine?
In order to be considered for publication in K+BB you must provide professional photographs of the project (K+BB does not do their own photo shoots) and a brief description of the design.
